Following completion of the pilot project involving eight trees towards the end of 2020, most of the remaining trees were then surveyed in April 2021. After reports have been prepared for each of the trees, it is proposed that a seminar will be held with the owners to discuss the reports and give guidance on measures to ensure the health and longevity of the trees.
Following completion of the pilot project involving eight trees towards the end of last 2020, a further 90 trees will now be surveyed starting on April 19th 2021. As already stated, the ultimate objective is to raise awareness of the importance of the trees and to encourage landowners to look after them with support from the Parish Council.
